On Friday we also got to see a tabloid ad of the film that had P L Thenappan holding a pistol in a cop’s uniform. ‘Nellai Sandhippu’ has debutants Senthil, Kovai Babu, Devika and Megha Nair in the lead roles.

Sources say that ‘Nellai Sandhippu’ is about how police encounters affect an ordinary family and is based on a real life incident. P L Thenappan does the role of the main villain who is an assistant commissioner of police.
