In his upcoming film 'Players', Neil Nitin Mukesh plays a youngster who is a computer wizard and helps his team execute the biggest gold heist ever by playing around with the electronic and other computerised systems. For the actor, it was pretty much like a homecoming when director duo of Abbas-Mustan explained the part to him since even in real life, Neil is a gadget freak and loves to own the latest cool gizmos from all over the globe.

"Yes, it was all easier for me to relate to the character of 'Spider' here since I am a complete gadget freak myself. I was 110% into the role and told Abbas-Mustan that I was definitely on board since I was sure of bringing in that added authenticity to the film", says Neil who sounds as much charged about the film today as he was a year ago when he started work on the film.

Further elaborating on his excitement, Neil says, "Normally if actors are not really computer friendly and are required to enact a character like this, it all turns out to be blatantly fake. Just one look at their fingers and you would know that they are just hitting the keyboard randomly without giving much thought to what is being keyed in. On the other hand since I am quite familiar with the gadgets, my relationship with them comes across as quite natural. This makes life simpler for the actor as well as the director."
