"Arumbu Meesai Kurumbu Paarvai" was directed by Vetrimahalingam who was then known as Vetriveeran and he is now making his second film "Vennila Veedu". The lead roles in this film for now are RJ turned actor Senthil and "Chennai 600028" fame Vijayalakshmi.

"The plot revolves around a newly-wed couple from the rural parts of the state moving to the city. They get friendly with another couple in their apartment, but gradually, problems crop up between the four, destroying their relationship and peace. I chose Senthil because seven out of 10 women mentioned his name when asked who they'd like to see in this role, indicating his popularity among female audiences, thanks to his TV serial Saravanan Meenakshi. The few established actresses I approached for this role did not want to act as the mother of two kids, but Vijayalakshmi wanted it because it is a very emotional one." was all what the director had to tell us about this new venture for now.
