Nehle Pe Dehla
Comedies are in a vogue. And what better time to unleash yet another comedy to the filmgoers than today? Especially when a film stars Sanjay Dutt in the lead who has just given an 'All Time Blockbuster' in the form of 'Lage Raho Munnabhai' and Saif Ali Khan as his partner in crime who has now cemented his place in the KHAN league?
It may have taken director Ajay Chandok 3 years to realize his dream of making a directorial debut but the wait seems to be worth it with now his 'Nehle Pe Dehla' getting readied for release. Though there have been talks about the film being re-titled as 'Jimmy Aur Johny', an official confirmation is still awaited.
What happens when two small time crooks team up with a dead body, present it as someone alive and roam around the town? Total 'dhamaal'!
This is what happens when Johny [Sanjay Dutt] and Jimmy [Saif Ali Khan] first come together. Small time crooks whose only 'sapna' is 'money money', they function independently to con people only to become a team when they meet in a jail.
In their endeavor to become rich they start making schemes and hit the jackpot when they get to know about Rs. 30 crore fraud committed by the manager [Shakti Kapoor] of a hotel which is owned by Bipasha Basu, his niece. In order to blackmail him to get their share of booty, they join the hotel as waiters but little did they know that destiny has a different route planned for them.
Shakti Kapoor is killed by the trio of goons played by Mukesh Rishi, Aasif Shaikh and Shiva respectively. The twist in the story makes Jimmy and Johny search for the real culprit and for that they are required to project the manager as alive.
And this is when the fun begins. Because now Jimmy and Johny are not just a team of two; they also have a manager for company, a dead one that!
Jimmy, Johny and the corpse v/s the trio of villains!
Which of the teams would turn out to be 'nehle pe dehla'?
The film also stars Kim Sharma as Bipasha's friend whose love is to read romantic novels and dreams of a knight who will come atop a horse and sweep her away from her feet!
With Rajpal Yadav forming a comic angle to the film, 'Nehle Pe Dehla' is a laugh riot that is expected to be the calling card of Ajay Chandok who has been an erstwhile assistant to David Dhawan in his dozen odd films. The film is expected to release early next year!
