Before its release, 'Chup Chup Ke' was in news for number of reasons that included Shahid-Kareena pairing, Paresh-Rajpal combo, Priyadarshan's direction and Reshammiya's music. But sadly there was not a word about another pretty woman in the film, Neha Dhupia!

Somehow media and public alike were not too excited about the idea of Neha's presence in this multistarrer film that had enough merits already to choose from. But the final cut of the film has proved that Neha Dhupia has turned out to be one of the pillars of support in the film. Though in the film's credits she would always be known as a supporting actress, the fact still remains that she had a much meatier role than the film's lead heroine Kareena Kapoor.

She isn't a mere soundboard of Kareena in the film, as alleged, and is particularly impressive in the comic scenes shared with Shahid Kapoor. She demonstrates variety of emotions in the film and comes across as an actress who deserves a much better deal in Bollywood.
