'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' hit the screens in May this year. The film was described as another 'Pokiri' by its Editor, Marthand K Venkatesh, before its theatrical release. However, the film turned out to be far less satisfying.

In an exclusive chit-chat with IndiaGlitz, Venkatesh commented that he doesn't understand why film critics didn't find the film's plot point concerning high-value bad debts unique. "I pay EMIs on loans. I am so particular not to get into the bank's bad books by making sure that I am always prompt. On the other hand, many bigwigs get away without repaying large sums of loans to banks. 'SVP' highlighted the same. I don't understand why it was not appreciated (by the media)," Venkatesh commented.

He also said that negativity against the Parasuram Petla directorial was spread even before the film arrived in theatres.

Venkatesh also doesn't understand why Sekhar Kammula's 'Leader' didn't turn out to be a hit in theatres. "It came to be appreciated later, on TV," the Editor said.

He also commented that nobody cared to visit theatres to watch the recent 'Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali', starring Sudheer Babu and Krithi Shetty. "The film was so good. Forget negative feedback, they didn't even watch it in theatres," Venkatesh rued.
