Actress Deepika Padukone had a release last week with the movie Chhapaak, which was directed by Meghna Gulzar, and the movie which had the actress playing a character named Malti, an acid attack survivor, was based on the life of activist and acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.

Last week, Deepika Padukone had won the respect of netizens with her sting operation where herself and team Chhapaak went to many shops and tried to buy acid, and exposed how many shops in India sell acid without following any regulations. This video of the sting operation by Deepika was appreciated.

Now the actress has become the subject of trolls and abuse by netizens with another new video. Deepika Padukone was involved in a Tik Tok video with makeup artist Faby, where she challenges the makeup artist to come in three of her movie looks namely Om Shanthi Om, Piku and Chhapaak, and Faby comes in all three looks. Netizens have criticized Deepika saying that the movie is not about acid attack victim's looks but about the pain of the survivor and that Deepika has degraded the acid attack survivors with her Tik Tok challenge.
