The shooting of 'Neerparavai', National Award winning director Seenu Ramasamy's forthcoming film, came to a halt for a few inevitable reasons sometime back. The latest is that the shoot would get a re-start in April.

Being produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies, the film has Vishnu of 'Kullanari Koottam' fame in the lead. Initially the shoot was disrupted due to a tussle between workers and producers over the non-revision of wages.

Even after the wage row came to an end, the director could not go ahead with the project, since Vishnu got injured during a Celebrity Cricket League Match. According to sources, he has been advised by doctors to be on rest for six weeks.

Following this, it has now been decided to start the shooting again by April. Bindu Madhavi is the leading lady of 'Neerparavai'. After Mani Ratnam's 'Kadal' and Bala's 'Eriyum Thanal', this is the third movie which is simultaneously being made in Kollywood, set in the backdrop of fishermen's lives.
