'Neerja': Best Reviewed Film of 2016

Set against a heroic backdrop, 'Neerja' has been winning accolades from all quarters! The film, which was made on a modest budget has been enjoying an overwhelming run at the box office. As per reports, 'Neerja' has a powerful hold at the box office and has collected 3.41 crore on day 5 reaching a total of 29.12 crore India biz.
The film opened to a thunderous response from film critics who were seen leaving the theatre choked. The critics have unanimously given Kudos to Director Ram Madhvani who is touted to be one of the most looked after director post 'Neerja'. The story of Neerja Bhanot has evolved into being an emotionally engaging thriller under Ram Madhvani's Direction.
Lead actress Sonam Kapoor who plays the titular role has been basking in praises for her realistic portrayal of the young hero Neerja on celluloid too. While onscreen parents, Shabana Azmi and Yogendra Tikku has done complete justice to the roles of Rama and Harish Bhanot respectively by delivering power packed supporting performances. The ruthless aggressive Hijacker, Jim Sarbh has also been garnering much love from the audiences.
