Ajay Devgan is one of the busiest actor in the Bollywood these days. He has a bunch of exciting projects lined up. His much awaited film 'Chanakya' has finally locked the script and will begin filming by the end of this year. Fans are excited since the project is helmed by Neeraj Pandey who knows how to bring out the best of the actors. The project was announced in 2018 and was supposed to go on floors in 2020 but the Covid-19 outbreak spoiled the plans.

Neeraj said, "It’s likely to go on the floors towards the end of this year and we are getting into hardcore prep in the next couple of months. Hopefully, we will start shooting by end of year."

About the story and narrative, Neeraj revealed, "It can’t be explained, you will have to see and get the nature of what we are attempting over here. It’s very difficult to put it in words as to this is how I am going to make Chanakya. There is a team that has been working on it for last two years. We have followed a process for a couple of years and the process is very shortly going to translate on the screen.”
