The famous song line of ‘Manasa Sarovara’ Kannada cinema of doyen director SR Puttanna Kanagal in which Dr Srinath performed in breathtaking style is remembered with the title ‘Neene Sakida Gini’.

The situation for Dr Srinath in Manasa Sarovara was very typical. Co actor in the film Ramakrishna falls in love and romance Padmavasanthi with whom Dr Srinath was supposed to express his feelings.

The song ‘Neene Sakida Gini Haddagi Kukkithallo…..is a sorrow song sung in high speed by Dr SPB. That is evergreen song even after 38 years.

Meanwhile ‘Manasa Sarovara’ is a television serial in Udaya TV from Dr Shivarajakumar production. The film with starting line ‘Neena Sakida Gini’ by SK Dreams Production is also having the similar theme. The regional censor board watching the film ‘Neena Sakida Gini’ has given U/A certificate. Four songs are part of this film penned by Arun Ram.  Friendship, Love, sentiment and action part of this Sooryakanth (S Manju) debut direction.
