Neena
'Nee-Na' is an urbane relationship drama that centers around a couple and a unusual girl that comes into their midst. Neena and Nalini are the titular characters in the tale. Nalini played by Ann Augustine, is married to a business honcho, played by Vijay Babu. They have a son. Into their lives enters a bold and unusual woman named Neena, played by Deepthi Sati.
Neena is the creative director of an ad agency. She does everything that a rakish man would do - drink, smoke, rides a mean bullet,entice and what not. Like her name suggests, she is extremely alluring yet has that unattainable air. She is someone who resents any kind of control over her. Her appearance, what with her hair cut short and dressed in a man's grab, makes her one of a kind and very unique.
Neena's entry into the couple's life brings with her, a dangerous allure that the couple have to deal with. Their attempt to "civilize" her wild impulses, the intricacies she creates in their relationship, and how they confront it forms the crux of the narrative. Nee-Na is basically the tale of two women as the tagline tells us. It promises to be a very novel movie, with a unique
theme and characterizations that Malayalam cinema has not witnessed.
