Actress Neena Gupta was recently seen in the Netflix film 'Sardar Ka Grandson'. Although she is used to play characters of mothers at this point in her career but in 'Sardar Ka Grandson', she played grandmother to the titular character played by Arjun Kapoor. While Neena played a 90 year old lady, seasoned actor Kanwaljit Singh played her son.

The amusing part is that, Neena and Kanwaljit played a married couple in a 90s TV show titled 'Saans'. One of the fans noticed this and pointed it out on social media. The user wrote, "Don't tell me Kanwaljit Singh is Neena Gupta's son in the movie? They were co-stars in the 90s. SMH."

Neena was quick to respond to the observation and called it one of the many characteristics ofnthe craft of acting. She said, "Bhaiya yehi toh acting ka maza hai. Kal jo aapka lover tha woh aapka beta hai, yehi toh maza hai (That's the joy of acting; someone could play both your lover and your son. It's fun)."
