Actress Neena Gupta revived her career after starring in Ayushmann Khurrana's film 'Badhaai Ho'. After coming to mainstream limelight after that film, Neena has done quite a few interesting movies and the recent one was 'Sardar Ka Grandson'. Although the actress is used to playing middle aged mother roles but this time she had to portray a 90 year old Grandma. Apparently, the actress wasn't very keen to take on the role but the story of the film made her change her mind.

She told Indian Express, "I though I don’t want to do a 90-year-old now, before listening to the script. But, after I did that, there was not even a second thought. I instantly said a yes. It’s very rare at my age that you get a role like this. Plus, it was a very challenging role. I’m still very nervous whether I overdid it, if I lost the posture or got the wrong voice tone, all those concerns of an actor. They always find fault in their performance. After initial 3-4 days, I got comfortable with my prosthetics. Main thing is script and dialogues are very nice."

'Sardar Ka Grandson' is feel movie about a man who goes beyond his way to fullfill the dying wish of his 90 year old grandmother.
