Neena Gupta is undoubtedly an exceptional actress and she has revived her career in last few years. Now for her next film, she is going to share screen with megastar Amitabh Bachchan himself and she'll play the role of his wife. The film will be a Vikas Bahl directorial and it is titled, 'Goodbye'. Bollywood new comer Rashmika Mandanna will be playing the lead in it. As for Neena Gupta, she is very happy and excited to work with Mr Bachchan.

In an recent statement, she said, "When Vikas narrated the film to me, I was so happy. It is a wonderful script and one doesn’t think about anything else, when the script is this exciting. Even the role is beautifully written and I am very excited to be sharing the screen space with Mr. Bachchan. It is a dream come true for me and I am quite ecstatic about it."

Neena Gupta's most popular role was probably in the 2018 film 'Badhaai Ho' where she played a middle aged lady expecting a baby. Amitabh Bachchan loved her performance so much in the film that he sent a handwritten letter of appreciation to the actress and called himself her fan. Reacting to the letter, Neena wrote, "Aapse ye patr aur pushp paake ankhen khushi se bhar aain. Thank you so much, Amitabh Bachchan sir."
