Popular Tamil actor Neelu passes away

Popular Tamil actor Neelakantan known to us as Neelu is no more. The veteran actor breathed his last in Chennai this day. Neelu was not only a well known TV and Film artist, but also has acted in more than 7000 stage plays.

His film portfolio also has about 160 in count. Neelu made his debut in 1966 in director Muktha Srinivasan’s ‘Aayiram Poi’ and has acted with Cho Ramasamy, Crazy Mohan in plays. It is also worth mentioning here that he along with Ambi(Cho’s brother) founded the Viveka Fine Arts.

May his soul rest in peace.
