Musician, Singer and Actress Andrea Jeremiah who sand the recent sensational song Oo Solriya Mama has landed on a dreamy Mermaid role for her next. Yes you heard it right, Andrea will be essaying the role of a Mermaid, and the film will be the "first of its kind" in India.

Reliable sources say, “This will be a fantasy drama that will have Andrea as a mermaid. This is a first-of-its-kind mermaid film made in India. Andrea is a talented performer and since she already has the height and the look to pull off this role, the team chose her.”  Sunainaa will also be seen in a prominent role. The film also has Bindhumathi and Munishkanth in crucial roles along with 50 child artists.

The source adds, “The film’s shoot is underway in Chennai. A huge set worth Rs 50 lakh has been erected in T Nagar, Chennai. They will also be shooting in Manappad, near Thoothukudi. The team aims to wrap up the shoot by February and plans to release it for the summer. There will be a lot of animation work and the team has already begun the same."

This yet to be named film will be directed by Dinesh Selvaraj of Thuppaki Munai fame.  The film's Cinematography will be handled by Bala Subramaniam and art direction by Crawford.
