Venkat Prabhu after making an impactful comeback with 'Maanaadu' starring Simbu and S.J. Suryah has moved on to his next Telugu/Tamil bilingual 'NC 22'. The film has Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty as the lead pair while Ilayaraja and Yuvan Shankar Raja are scoring the music.
Arun Vijay was approached to play the villain in 'NC 22' in the Sreenivasa Silver Screens production but he reportedly declined. Now news is coming in that Jiiva has signed on to play the powerful role and his inclusion will be announced offically soon.
Jiiva who was last seen in the pan Indian film '83' currently has Sundar C's 'Coffee With Kadhal', 'Golmaal' and 'Varalaru Mukkiyam' ready for release. He has played a delightful negative character in the late S.P. Jananathan's 'E' and it will be a treat for his fans to see him in a similar role with a VP touch.
