The long wait for Anwar Rasheed’s ‘Trance’, that has Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya in the lead, is coming to an end next month. And, the makers have unveiled the much-awaited first song 'Raat' from the movie. 

Staying true to the movie's title, the addictive song has a 'trance' effect. With the vibrant visuals and hallucinating vocals, the song gives a tranquilizing experience to the listeners. Jackson Vijayan has composed the music for the bilingual song, which is one of its kind experience for the Malayalam audience. Vinayak Sasikumar has penned the lyrics. 

The movie, which marks the comeback of Anwar Rasheed to the role of a director, will hit the theatres on February 14, 2020, as a Valentine's Day special release. As the movie marks the second collaboration of real-life couple Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya after 'Bangalore Days', audiences are waiting to watch their favorite couple on the silver screen.  

'Trance' is bankrolled by Anwar Rasheed Entertainments. Vincent Vadakkan is crafting the script. Apart from directing and producing the film, Anwar Rasheed is also handling the camera. Praveen Prabhakar is in charge of the editing department. Oscar Award winner Resul Pookkutty is handling the sound design for 'Trance'.

As the director’s last feature film 'Ustad Hotel' was released in 2012, the anticipation for an Anwar Rasheed directorial is huge.
