An old controversy regarding actress Nazriya and anchor Ranini Haridas has reared its head once again. The issue is the duo using elephants of the forest department for a safari. The incident happened some time back at the Kodanad Elephant Sanctuary.

A complaint has been lodged by VK Venkitachalam of Heritage Animal Task Force at the Central Animal Welfare Board and the Forest Department. The complaint is based on the government orders dated December 4, 2014 that elephants can be used for safari only after getting the consent of the Central Animal Welfare Board.
