Nayini Narasimha Reddy's wife Ahalya breathes her last

The demise of Nayini Ahalya, the wife of former Telangana Home Minister Nayini Narasimha Reddy (86), has come as a shock. The 68-year-old woman breahed her last on Monday just days after her husband passed away due to COVID-related complications. She too had been treated for a lung infection induced by the virus at Hyderaba's Apollo Hospitals.
Survived by a son and a daughter, the husband-wife died weeks after they tested positve for coroanvirus. Narasimha Reddy had tested negative, but health complications surfaced after that.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has condoled the demise of Ahalya. Paying his last respects, Chevella MP Dr Ranjith Reddy wrote, "Deeply saddened by the passing of Ahalya garu, wife of Late Shri. Nayini Narasimha Reddy garu. Visited the family's residence today, paid my sincere respects by carrying her body into their home, and offered my heartfelt condolences to the family."
