Actor Saran Shakthi has been known for playing small roles in movies like Jilla, Kadal and had also played the lead role in the movie Sagaa. Saran Shakthi had been well known for acting as Dhanush's brother in law in last year's gangster drama Vada Chennai directed by Vetrimaran.

Now, the young actor has got another interesting movie, as he has been signed to play an important role in the Lady Superstar Nayanthara starrer Netrikann. Directed by Milind Rau who had debuted with Aval, Netrikann is produced by Vignesh Shivan's Rowdy Pictures and has Nayanthara as a blind woman.

Besides Netrikann, Saran Shakthi had also recently got the big opportunity to play an important role in the sequel of last year's Kannada superhit KGF, KGF Chapter 2. Directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Yash in lead role, KGF Chapter will have Sanjay Dutt as the villain, and will be released next year.
