Nayanthara ‘vs’ Samantha in triangular love story

Two of the biggest female stars of south India are going to be rivals in Kollywood director Vignesh Shivan’s Tamil-language upcoming rom-com.  A triangular love story, this one is titled ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’.  The Tamil movie has ‘Sye Raa’ actor Vijay Sethupathi as the male lead.

The film is expected to throw up exciting scenes involving the ‘Jaanu’ actress and the ‘Sye Raa’ beauty.

Music is by Anirudh Ravichander. Bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio and Rowdy Pictures, the film will release later this year.  Since Nayan and Samantha are quite popular in the Telugu States, expect it to have a simultaneous Telugu release.  Vijay is doing ‘Uppena’, which releases on April 2, in Telugu
