Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, an adored couple in the film industry, tied the knot last year after several years of love. The two were blessed with twin boys and they recently revealed the names of the children. Now, the lovebirds are again in the headlines for their kind act.

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan recently visited their deity temple in Kumbakonam, and their pictures and videos went viral on social media. The duo returned to Chennai via train on the late night of April 5. The couple decided to help the homeless people on the streets after they saw them suffering from the rain.

Fans papped a video of Nayan and Wikki donating things to the needy and the clip is doing rounds on the internet. In the video, the celebrity duo is seen holding bags of food and essential items. However, the couple didn't publicise their noble act on social media. This is not the first time they are doing welfare activities.

On the work front, Nayanthara is busy with nearly nine projects including her untitled 75th film, Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan', Jayam Ravi's 'Iraivan', a horror film with Raghava Lawrence and much more. Meanwhile, Vignesh Shivan is all set to start a sci-fi rom-com with Pradeep Ranganathan as the lead. Nayan is expected to play the leading lady in this movie as well.
