Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are now officially married. The wedding took place at 10.20 am today. The who's who of the Tamil film industry were in attendance. Right from Rajinikanth, to Vijay, Ajith, from Suriya to Karthi, from Vijay Sethupathi to others, they made their presence felt. From Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan and Boney Kapoor were present. A star hotel in Mahabalipuram was the venue.

Meanwhile, Vignesh Shivan outed the first pic from the wedding. He shared a pic and wrote that he got married by God's grace. "On a scale of 10… She is Nayan and I am the One. With God’s grace, the universe, and all the blessings of our parents and best of friends," the Kollywood filmmaker wrote. Earlier, he wrote that Nayan was thankful to God and the goodwill from all the lovely human beings who have crossed her life. 

More glimpses will flow in slowly as the day passes. About one lakh people across India will get to participate in the wedding reception now that the couple have arranged dinners at orphanages, temples and old-age homes. 

The subscribers of Netflix can watch the wedding as a docu video once it starts streaming. The wedding video, directed by Gautham Menon, is expected to be top-notch.
