Nayanthara to star in Rajinikanth's film?

After it was recently reported that Nayanthara was approached for megastar Chiranjeevi's 150th film Auto Johnny, the latest we hear is that the Malayali damsel is being considered for an important role in Rajinikanth's forthcoming film directed by Pa Ranjith.

Sources say that the makers are planning to zero in on Nayan for a crucial role. It is reliably learnt that Nayan's role in the film will not exactly be that of a leading lady, since Rajini is reportedly playing the role of an aging don. An official confirmation from the production house is awaited.
