Actress Nayanthara who has taken the Tamil movie buffs by storm with her recent performances in Thani Oruvan` and Maya` is a highly sought after actress in the film industry of her mother tongue as well.

After the super hit Bhaskar the Rascal`, Nayanthara will be pairing up with Malayalam superstar Mammootty in another film and this yet to be titled film is going to be directed by A.K.Sajan.

We have an interesting update about the characters that would be played by the ever charming actress in the film. Nayanthara will be acting as a Kathakali dancer in the film for the first time in her career that has crossed a decade. She has started learning the ethnic dance form of Kerala as the film involves sequences of her performing Kathakali. She is also a girl hailing from a poor Brahmin family in the film and her character name is Vasuki.

Mammootty will be playing an advocate named Louis Pothen in this film.
