Superstar Rajnikanth, who had scored a thumping success earlier this year with his Pongal release Petta directed by Karthik Subbaraj and costarring Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, Trisha, Simran, Sasikumar and Nawazuddin Siddiqui has now moved on to his next, Darbar.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, Darbar was launched before two weeks and the team had been canning shots featuring the Superstar, who plays a police officer in the movie after two decades. While several pictures of the Superstar from Bandra were out online, the team has been maintaining extreme secrecy on his looks for the movie.
Today, the film’s lead actress Nayanthara, who had been shooting for Thalapathy 63, has joined the shooting of Darbar and scenes featuring Superstar Rajnikanth and the Lady Superstar are expected to be shot. Nayan and Rajni have earlier worked in Chandramukhi, Kuselan and Sivaji.
