It was announced in mid-2019 that Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha are joining hands for a new movie 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal' directed by Vignesh 

The film was supposed to start early this year but was stalled because of the coronavirus pandemic.   Now the buzz is that 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal' is all set to go on floors later this month.

There are reports in some sections of the media that Samantha has opted out of the project for some unknown reason but it is not officially confirmed as yet.    We will bring you all the news regarding this exciting project in the coming days.  Stay tuned.

Further Samantha maintains a good rapport with Nayanthara and even posted a cute message for her birthday  "Happy birthday to the one and only Nayanthara.. keep shining brighter and brighter and inspiring us to fight for what is ours...more power to you... sister... salute to your strength and silent determination."
