Lady superstar Nayanthara made headlines recently when she voluntarily opened up about her engagement with her beau Vignesh Sivan in the promo released by Vijay television ahead of her film Netrikann release. Nayan looked gorgeous in a yellow dress and minimal makeup look.

Followed by this the makers unveiled a BTS video where the actress can be seen bonding with her reel pet Scooby on Netrikann set. Scooby is a guide dog in the film as Nayan plays the role of a visually impaired person.

The film was previously slated to be released in theatres. However, due to the second wave of the novel coronavirus, makers decided to skip the theatrical screening and opted for a digital release. The film is touted to be an adaptation of the Korean film 'Blind'. The story revolves around a visually impaired person who is a witness in a police cas.

Directed by Milind Rau, Netrikann is now all set to be released in four languages - Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam on Disney+Hotstar VIP. Apart from Nayanthara, Netrikann also stars Ajmal Ameer, Manikandan Pattambi and Saran in crucial roles.
