RJ Balaji reveals the story of Nayanthara’s Mookuthi Amman!

Radio jockey and comedian RJ Balaji had made his debut as a hero last year with the movie LKG directed by debutant Prabhu, and after the success of this political satire, announced his debut venture as a director.

Titled Mookuthi Amman, RJ Balaji is co-directing this movie with debutant NJ Saravanan and this movie is said to be a devotional flick. In a recent interview, RJ Balaji has revealed the plot og the movie. Mookuthi Amman revolves around a poor family, with RJ Balaji struggling to lead the family and what happens when goddess Mookuthi Amman enters their family.

Moulee, Urvashi, Thadam fame Smruthi Venkat play RJ Balaji’s family members, and actor Ajay Ghosh who played the villain in movies like Visaranai plays the main villain in Mookuthi Amman. RJ Balaji also revealed that the movie will not have a OTT premiere and will release in theatres first.
