Actress Nayanthara is all set to team up with actor Kunchacko Boban for an upcoming thriller titled 'Nizhal' in Malayalam. The movie which marks to be the maiden directorial venture of State Award-winning editor Appu N Bhattathiri, will have the lead pair sharing screen space after 12 long years.

Unveiling the first look poster of the movie, Kunchacko Boban wrote,".........”NIZHAL”........Happy to announce and unveil the title poster of my next with a bunch of talents along with the ravishing Nayanthara!!".

In an interview with TOI, Kunchacko Boban revealed that Nayanthara will be playing a strong character and that she loved the script. Being the pandemic time, some of the projects of both the actors' got postponed and so the team decided to go ahead with the movie now, said Kunchacko Boban,.

He also revealed that it is not a pandemic-oriented flick and has a very few actors. Most of the movie will be filmed in Ernakulam. Meanwhile, it is reported that Nayanthara had even decided to take a pay cut to be part of the project.

Coming to the technicalities, the movie is penned by S Sanjeev. Cinematography is by Deepak D Menon and Music is by Sooraj S Kurup. Jointly produced by Anto Joseph, Abhijith M Pillai, Badusha, Fellini TP and Ginesh Jose, the movie will go on floors on Monday in Kochi.
