Anirudh is scoring the music for Nayanthara's upcoming film 'Kolamavu Kokila' directed by Nelson. The just released single "Edhuvaraiyo"  has already become a hit amping up the expectations for the summer release. It has been revealed that Nayanthara plays an ordinary girl with a penchant for drawing rongoli who gets caught in a smuggling ring and how she wriggles out of the situation using her intelligence forms the crux of the story.  Saranya Ponvannan, Yogi Babu and Jacqueline are doing important roles while Lyca Productions bankrolls the project.

Nayanthara is headlining the cast of several films making her the leading lady with more woman centric films than any other in the country.  The list includes 'Imaikka Nodigal', 'Kolaiyuthir Kaalam' , 'Kolamavu Kokila' and films with Arivazhagan and a debutante director apart from 'Viswasam', 'Sye Raa' and possibly 'Indian 2' with Kamal Haasan and the Rajini-Karthick Subbaraj project.
