Nayanthara Joins Balakrishna’s Grand Period Drama ‘NBK111’

The makers of NBK111 have officially welcomed Nayanthara on board, marking her entry into the much-anticipated epic starring Nandamuri Balakrishna. The announcement was made on the occasion of the actress’s birthday, with the team calling her the “one and only Queen” and expressing their excitement about her presence in the film. They shared that they are honoured to bring her “power and grace” into the narrative and are eagerly looking forward to seeing her on set soon.

Directed by Gopichand Malineni, NBK111 is a massive period drama set in a world of kings, kingdoms, and intense royal court politics. To mark Nayanthara’s birthday, the team also unveiled her first-look poster, showcasing her in a fierce warrior-queen avatar, adorned with regal jewellery, shoulder tattoos, and standing against the backdrop of a raging battlefield.

This film marks Nayanthara’s fourth collaboration with Balakrishna following their successful outings in Simha, Jai Simha, and Sri Rama Rajyam. It is also director Gopichand Malineni’s first venture into the historical genre, adding further intrigue to the project.

Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, the producer is simultaneously bankrolling Ram Charan’s “Peddi.” With the “God of Masses” Balakrishna leading the charge and Nayanthara joining the imperial world of NBK111, the buzz around the project is stronger than ever.

The remaining cast and crew details will be announced soon, and the film is expected to go on floors next month.
