At a time when she just scored a box office hit in the form of 'GodFather', Nayanthara and her husband Vignesh Shivan have become parents four months after their wedding via surrogacy. On Sunday evening, the husband put out adorable pics of himself and the Lady Superstar with their newborns, twin baby boys.

"Nayan & me have become Amma & Appa. We are blessed with twin baby boys. All our prayers, our ancestors’ blessings combined with all the good manifestations made have come together in the form of two blessed babies for us. Need all your blessings for our Uyir and Ulagam," he wrote. Uyir and Ulagam are not names but terms of endearment like Bujji in Telugu.

Nayan and Vicky met and fell in love with each other during the making of their film 'Naanum Rowdy Thaan' (Tamil) in 2015. They got married on June 9 this year at a star hotel in Chennai.

Meanwhile, their fans are expressing their joy over the good news.

The route of surrogacy chosen by the couple must be respected, Netizens are saying. "Surrogacy, adoption, natural birth, let it be whatever. Simply don't poke nose. Privacy is a joke only. Let the family be! They'll share what they want to, if they want, and whenever they choose," wrote a Twitter user.

"Their Body...Their Rights...Their Life... The couple are rocking by breaking so so many stereotypes like living together before marriage is not crime nor anyone's concern and now about surrogacy awareness," wrote another Netizen.
