Lady Superstar Nayanthara's 'Aramm' (to be released as 'Kartavyam' in Telugu) has been directed by Gopi Nainar. The film is touted to be a social drama where Nayanthara is essaying the lead role of a district collector.

In an innovative and socially relevant approach, the makers of the film, at the initiative of Nayan, have come up with a unique idea to help aspiring inventors seeking a break. The producers have come up with a contest where aspirants can pitch in their projects. From these, the best ones will be handpicked and their complete research programmes will be funded by the makers.

The film has music by Ghibran. Om Prakash is the cinematographer. Vignesh, Ramesh, Sunu Lakshmi, Vinodhini Vaidyanathan, Ramachandran Durairaj and PV Anand Krishnan are playing other important roles.

While the Tamil version is releasing on Nov 10, the Telugu version could arrive later this month or in December.
