In Thirunaal` Jiiva plays the lead role of a village rowdy who is an expert in stacking blades in his mouth to spit on anyone who attacked him. Director Ramnath conceived a scene in which his lover Nayanthara who plays a school teacher to threaten him with a blade in her mouth when he gets cozy with her. According to Ramnath Nayanthara readily agreed to do the high risk scene and after about half anhour training she gave the crew a perfect shot without harming herself. Now that is dedication for you.
