Nayanthara is an actress who seems to be on a role in successive projects such as ‘Imaikkaa Nodigal’, ‘Narasimha reddy’, ‘Kolaiyuthir Kaalam’ and ‘Kolamavu Kokila’. Moreover she is in talks to essay the female lead in Kamal’s ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ and Thala Ajith’s ‘Viswasam’ in addition to a possible role in Karthik Subbaraj-Superstar Rajinikanth project.

‘Kolamavu Kokila’ is one of her most anticipated films which is nearing completion at break-neck speed. An interesting update on Nayanthara’s character in the film has surfaced. Reportedly Nayanthara will be essaying the role of a lower middle class girl in the movie. The first look posters only add veracity to this as the actress can be seen in a humble attire.

The film directed by Nelson Dilipkumar also has an ensemble cast of Vijay TV Jacqueline, Yogi Babu, Saranya and Nisha. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music score for the film and bankrolled by Lyca Productions.
