On Sunday, a rumour went out that 'Sye Raa' actress Nayanthara was infected with the coronavirus. The beauty and her beau, director Vignesh Shivan, have scotched the silly rumour in their own way.

Taking to Twitter, Vignesh Shivan posted a lovely video in which he and Nayanthara's child versions are seen performing a cute dance. Accompanying the video is this message: "And that’s how we see the news about us, the dear corona & your wonderful designs with dead images of us????!! Hi?? we are alive, healthy and happy?? God has given us enough strength & happiness to see the imagination of all you jokers and your silly jokes?"

With this, Nayan's fans have heaved a sigh of relief.

Vignesh Shivan is currently producing a Tamil film starring, besides directing a triangular rom-com starring Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha Akkineni and Nayan herself.
