With the director for Chiranjeevi's 150th film being announced, the spotlight now turns onto the leading lady of the movie. If the buzz is to be believed, Nayanthara is being considered for the role.

Chiranjeevi, who enacted in 149 films so far, have not worked with Nayan before, and as such, the makers have expressed interest in the pairing.

"A few heroines have been shortlisted, and out of those, Nayanthara is the strongest contender to play Chiranjeevi's heroine. The makers are shortly expected to take a final call on the decision," a source from the film's unit told.

The film, which will be directed by Puri Jagannadh and produced Ram Charan, will be launched on Chiranjeevi's birthday on August 22, and is expected to go on floors in September. BVS Ravi is providing the story for the film, which is scheduled for 2016 Sankranti release.
