Actress Nayanthara and filmmaker Vignesh Shivn visited the famous Chottanikkara Bhagavathy temple in Kochi for Makam Thozhal. The temple was crowded with devotees who reached the temple seeking blessings on the seventh day of the Makam Thozhal festival. Pictures and videos of the couple arriving at the temple are doing the rounds on social media. Adhering to COVID protocols, both the stars were seen wearing a face mask. Nayanthara was seen in a simple attire, a yellow salwar, with minimal make up and her fans were surprised to see her at the temple.

On the professional front, Nayanthara will be starring alongside Megastar Chiranjeevi in Mohan Raja’s upcoming political-thriller Godfather. The makers have recently wrapped up a key schedule of the film with Nayanathara. Commemorating the schedule wrap, the makers shared the news on social media with a picture of Nayanthara with director Mohan Raja. Meanwhile, Vignesh Shivn is promoting his upcoming film Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal that stars Nayanthara, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal, billed as a love comedy, was originally set to be released around Christmas. However, owing to post-production delays, the makers were forced to reschedule the release. The film is now slated to hit theatres on April 28.
