Nayanthara's character in 'Imaikka Nodigal'

Nayanthara is easily the top ranking heroine in Kollywood and day after day she is signing exciting projects in Tamil. the latest is that she has signed to play a role in 'Imaikka Nodigal' to be directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu of 'Demonte Colony' fame. This film will have Atharvaa Murali as the male lead.

While it was speculated that Nayan will be playing the pair of Atharvaa the team has denied it. Director Gnanamuthu has said that Nayan will be playing a strong pivotal character but she is not the love interest of Atharvaa in the film. The team is in fact searching another actress to play Atharvaa's pain in this film touted to be an emotional thriller.

The director also confirmed that Nayan will start shooting for the film from October 2016.
