A new record by Nayanthara's 'Maya'

It would be an understatement to say that actress Nayanthara is at the peak of her career. After completing 12 years as a heroine in this highly glamour driven industry, Nayanthara is continuously acting in super hit films which also receive unanimous critical acclaim.
At a time when star studded biggies disappear from the screens within a few weeks, 'Thani Oruvan' which had Nayanthara as the lead heroine has completed 50 days in most of the theaters the film was screened and is still running to packed houses. Now 'Maya' the film in which Nayanthara is the only crew member with the star status has also completed its 50 day run in theaters today.
Directed by debutante Ashwin Saravanan, 'Maya' is a horror flick that had genuine horror moments that will shake even strong willed people. Apart from horror, the film had a fantastic emotional undercurrent which was deftly dealt by the writer-director and neatly performed by all the actors. This is also one of the technically brilliant horror flicks in recent times. These factors made the film a delight for audience and critics and ensured its long standing success.
