Nayantara's 'Vasuki' set for release

'Vasuki' is the dubbed version of the Malayalam revenge drama 'Puthiya Niyamam'. Starring Nayanthara and Mammootty in lead roles, the film sees the star actress in the role of the latter's wife.

While you will find Nayan in a substantial role, wearing saree, the film sees Baby Ananya in an important role. SR Mohan is producing the Telugu version. Songs are by Vennelakanti and Bhuvanachandra. Touted to be a suspenseful family thriller, 'Vasuki' comes with the caption 'New law against rape. The original was released in February last.

Directed by AK Sajan, the film has music by Gopi Sundar of 'Ninnu Kori'.
