Though her comeback to cinema was a great success by any standards, the recent decision by a film organisation down south has come up as a shocker. The actress is now being banned by the Telugu film directors association. This ban comes as the actress denied to participate in the promotional works of her recent film 'Anamika'- the remake of the Bollywood hit 'Kahaani.

Nayanthara plays the same character that Vidhya Balan has made immortal in Hindi. With the actress not attending the promotional activities, the makes were in a confusion on how to move ahead with the publicity plans. Anyhow with plenty of projects down south in Tamil, Nayanthara is sure not to get affected by any of these bans.
