Ace actress Trisha's Nayaki, a horror movie, is directed by Govi. Made in Telugu and Tamil by Giridhar Productions's by Giridhar Mamidipalli, the film marks the coming of Trisha in a horror film for the first time. Under Raghu Kunche's instructions, Trisha has debuted as a singer. The audio release function was held in Hyderabad yesterday. Nandamuri Balakrishna graced the occasion. Releasing the first CD, he handed over to Trisha. Producer Ambika Krishna released the trailer.

Balakrishna said, "I am doing Gautamiputra Satakarni this year even though I hadn't planned for it. I am feeling lucky to be doing this historical. Seeing Trisha in the posters of Nayaki, I am reminded of my role in Dictator. Trisha is beauty, innocence and playfulness. One would get good roles if opportunities are made use of. Even though she is a first-timer, Trisha has sung quite well. Bhaskarabhatla has written all the songs fabulously. Women have been assaulted in our society. That's why, to impress upon people their greatness, I said a line about women in my film. I hope there is a good message in this film as well. It was Kamal Haasan who came as Naayakudu yesterday; it's now Trisha coming as Nayaki. Trisha's unknown side has been unveiled."

Director Vijay Kumar Konda said, "Pretty actress Trisha is looking different in the trailer. Rajesh is doing distinct roles, of late, right from Kshanam. Rajesh will get bigger fame after this. I wish the film becomes a big hit."

Lyricist Bhaskarabhatla said, "I have written all the songs. Giridhar and me began our careers as journalists. I am happy to have worked for Giridhar's second film as well. I have got an opportunity to work with Raghu Kunche another time. Govi is a talented director. I wrote the 'Bhayam' number keeping in mind the news we read daily in newspapers. Trisha has sung the song so well."

Ganesh Venkatraman said, "I acted with Trisha in Akasamantha for the first time. Nayaki is my second film with Trisha. She has done a fabulous job. Raghu Kunche and Rajesh will get laurels after this film. I am happy to be coming to the Telugu audience in a good role after Damarukam."

Srinivas Reddy said, "Govi has worked as if it's his first film even though it's his second one. Rajesh used to come to the sets made up like a hero. When jocularly asked if he thought he was a hero, he would say yes. I am happy that he has become a hero with Nayaki. Trisha is my favourite heroine."

Producer Ambika Krishna said, "If Balakrishna garu attends the audio function, that film is a sure-shot hit. No matter how many times I listen to Ramanamma song, it doesn't bore me. Raghu Kunche can compose mass songs so well. After Bhayam number, Trisha could become a busy singer. If there is any hero who can act in a movie based on Telugu historical legends, it's Balakrishna. I appreciate him on doing Gautamiputra Satakarni."

Sathyam Rajesh said, "Trisha has not changed from the days of Varsham. I am feeling proud to have worked with an actress like her. I thank director Govi for the opportunity."

Raghu Kunche said, "I am feeling lucky to have introduced Trisha as a singer. I wish she will make a name for herself as a singer. If this film scares you at 10 places, it will make you laugh at 15 places."

Producer Giridhar said, "When I was a film journalist, I spent time with 'annayya' from morning till evening. I can never forget that day. I was the secretary to NTR Fans Association in Rampachodavaram. I can never forget this day because Balayya 'babu' has released the audio of a film produced by me. I will be indebted to him throughout my life. I worked as Trisha's personal manager for 8 years. She said OK as soon as she listened to the script. There have been many horror films in the past, but this film is different. This one is the best performance in Trisha's career. She will win rewards and awards for this film."

Raj Kandukuri, the film's presenter said, "It doesn't matter how many films we have made. What will be remembered is how many good films we made. I have made nine films till date. But I will remember Nayaki forever. Govi has executed a new point."

Director Govi said, "I narrated this story to Trisha while at the audio release function of Lion. When I saw Balakrishna garu, I was filled with positivity. I am happy that he is here today. I feel he has some connect to this film. I thank the producer and the presenter for believing in me despite my first film I Love You Bangaram having been a flop. I am introducing Sathyam Rajesh as a hero. Poonam Kaur, Madhavi Latha and Nara Rohith are doing guest roles. Since he liked the posters, Rajamouli garu tweeted them. Our film has got greater craze after that."

Trisha said, "Raghu Kunche has given good music. He has made me sing a song. I thank the wonderful team for working so hard for the film."
