Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan was recently seen in the industry hit 'Vikram'. Now, the latest is that the Universal Hero has become a part of Mani Ratnam's dream project 'Ponniyin Selvan'. The two legendary cine personalities share a great friendship and now they two have joined after a long time.
It is worth mentioning that Kamal and Mani Ratnam worked together in the 1987 cult classic 'Nayakan'. The duo is working together after 35 years in 'Ponniyin Selvan'. Reportedly, Kamal Haasan has agreed to lend his voice as a story narrator in the magnum opus film franchise. Aandavar has given the voice-over narration for the Tamil version of the movie.
Sources say that Kamal has completed dubbing for the portions. Notably, Kamal Haasan lent his voice for story narration earlier in Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy'. 'Ponniyin Selvan' is the cinematic adaptation of the renowned author Kalki's serialised 1950s novel of the same name.
With music by AR Rahman, 'Ponniyin Selvan part 1' has dialogues by Jeyamohan. The epic multistarrer features Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Karthi, Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Shobita Dhulipala, Sarathkumar, Parthiban, Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Vikram Prabhu, Ashwin and others. 'PS1' is all set to hit the screens worldwide on September 30.
