'Nayakan' starring Kamal Haasan remains one of the best-ever films in Tamil cinema. The 1987 film was directed by the legendary maker Mani Ratnam. The duo is coming together after 37 years for the upcoming flick, 'Thug Life'. Now, the hot buzz is a Nayakan actor is joining the star cast.

Earlier, the makers officially announced that Trisha, Dulquer Salmaan and Jayam Ravi are starring alongside Kamal Haasan in this film. Then, veteran actress Abhirami confirmed that she is reuniting with Ulaganayagan after 'Virumandi'. The latest is that actor Nassar is roped in to play an important role in 'Thug Life'. This is now going viral on the internet.

It is already reported that 'Thug Life' might be a sequel to 'Nayakan'. The addition of Nassar to the star cast adds fuel to those speculations. This movie's shooting commences on January 18th in a college premise in Chetpet, Chennai. Ideally, the filming should be completed in the second half of this year and will be released before/in the summer of 2025.
