Nawazuddin Siddiqui's message on bagging Filmfare for second time in a row

Brilliant actor and OTT star Nawazuddin Siddiqui bagged the Filmfare Award OTT for Best Actor for his performance in the film Serious Men'. This was his second Filmfare win in a row as he won Best Actor last year for 'Raat Akeli Hai'. Apparently Nawaz is quite excited about his win and he expressed his happiness on social media as well.

Sharing a few pictures from the ceremony holding the award, Nawazuddin wrote on Instragram, Winning it in a row. Year 2020 for #RaatAkeliHai for Best Film & Best Actor Year 2021 for #SeriousMen again for Best Film & Best Actor. Such recognition motivates me to keep on experimenting.

In an conversation with a news outlet, Nawaz opened up about his feelings on getting awarded and also about the future prospects of his career. He told ETimes, I always wanted to and will always want to do a lot more character-oriented concepts. I want to keep exploring the inner psyche of every type of human. 'Serious Men' and 'Raat Akeli Hai' gave me an opportunity to explore the inner world of the characters and that’s the kind of experiment I love to do and getting awarded for both the films back to back makes me more and confident and motivates me.

The actor will soon be seen in films like 'Jogira Sara Ra Ra' and 'Tiku Weds Sheru' among others.
