Popular and gifted actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is enjoying his retreat away from work at his home town in Uttar Pradesh. He is not keen to return to work anytime soon since he believes he has done a lot in last few months. Nawaz stated, "Here, at home, I am able to do things that I can never do in Mumbai, like farming my own land and growing vegetables...I've worked enough in the past few years. I can take it easy for as long as I want. I know there is a truckload of work waiting for me. But until I feel safe, I can't return to shoot."
Nawaz has worked back to back schedules amidst the pandemic and delivered two successful releases last year. He said, "From 2020 to April 2021, I completed two films Sangeen and Jogira Sara Ra Ra. I also finished a major portion of Bole Chudiya. I shot a music video and and sang and shot for a song in Bole Chudiyan. I shot for seven ads...This is enough work for the year. Even if I don't get to work for the rest of the year, I am okay with it."
It is certainly good to see a Bollywood taking some time out to stay connected to his roots instead signing dozens of films just to stay popular and relevant.
